View Full Version : How to embed YouTube videos in your posts

If you would like to embed a YouTube video into your post, you can now do so without needing to post only a link. This process is pretty easy:

1) Find the URL to the video you want to embed. For example:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e9zLQ-7GGZw

2) Copy out the video ID from the URL: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e9zLQ-7GGZw

3) Click on the YouTube link (http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad52/hpisf/viral-video.jpg) in the editor tray to add the neccessary tags to the post:

4) Paste the ID from the first step in between the two tags - and viola! Embedded YouTube video!:
e9zLQ-7GGZw

Comes out looking like this:
e9zLQ-7GGZw

Okay just opens you tube on the iPhone. Just like clicking a normal YouTube link.

note to iphone users note some videos on youtube are not compatible on iphones

Another way to upload (i seem to be the only one doing it this way,lol!)

Below the video your trying to post,there is a button that says <embed> -

Click on the embed button.A menu with options will appear,change any settings as desired then copy the embed code -

Now paste the code you have just copied into the text box in the thread you are posting the video into.

Highlight the text & click on the Youtube icon on the right hand side of the list.This will add [YOUTUBE] tags to the text.

Click the 'submit' button & watch :)
