got a few questions about the 2010 Rules, I posted them on the NL site, but haven't gotten a responce yet, maybe yall can help me.
question reguard the Pro 4x4 Brushed Class:
I have a modded Kyosho twin Force that I want to enter into this class.
Rules state that the truck must be a solid axle and 4linked. Mine is both of those. But it also states that no one way bearings can be used. the twin force uses one in the center tranny between the front and rear drive shafts to assist in steering. Would this have to be removed or locked out.
motors: says only dual 540's or dual BL motors are allow, so the stock 550 can motors can't be used in this class correct, or even say the traxxas 550 titan motors, which somes stock in the truck.
tires: says you must use 2.6 dia rims, there are not made in that size for the twin force, but the stock kit mad force tires/rims are the same width/height as the stock clod buster tires, along with the ofna Monster Pirate tires/rims, would those be allowed since they are the same since as a stock clod tire?
Is there any limit to the width or length of the trucks? since my truck is a custom built model, I can change the length of the truck if need be, but if there is a limit to the width of the truck, I would be limited on rims that could be used with the axles.
I feel as though that my truck and a buddy of mine(setup the same) have a better chance of competeting in this class than the 4x4 brushed class with other ind. sus. rc's.
