savage 25 limited not shifting

Im not new to the rc cars but this is my first savage 25 limited it has a 3 speed trans when i first start driving it it shifts but as it warms up it seems like the clutch is slipping could it be the slipper clutch or the clutch shoes themselfs. what should i do or do I need to upgrade something??

check stuff out first pull the engine and scuff the shoes up with fine sandpaper do the same with the clutch bell tighten your slipper clutch down all the way and then back it off a half turn ...... it might be your tunning also thats whay it might not shift keep us posted

Mine does the same. It shifts, but I can hear it. If it's gaining speed like it should, then I wouldn't worry about it.
