Whats the difference between the turbo plugs and regular ones?????
Turbo plugs/heads dont use a copper crush washer to seal...that is why the turbo plug as a cone taper on the end. Here is a nice guide to OS plugs that I found http://www.osengines.com/accys/glowplugs.html (Thought it might help some)

At my lhs os plugs are like 10 dollars My surefire eats os plugs for some reason I went through one in like 2 tanks if that It does like mcoy mc59 The last mcoy I had like a gallon on hat one plud IMO os plugs and my surefire don't mix
I just put that chart up for some people that might find it interesting and useful, I can get the OS plugs just as cheap as anything else around here and they serve me well. I have used a few different plugs and haven't had any issues with any of them so far. I just use OS and traxxas plugs more because they are cheap, also the tower hobbies plugs I have found to work pretty good for me too.
Here is more info maybe someone will find it useful.
I found this pic it might help too.

this will help big time. Also remember if you use 30% nitro, it is recommended to use a cold plug. I was using a med-hot plug in mine........the motor got to 420 by the end of the race, needles to say it does not work anymore.

Sounds right, how does the engine run? Do you use a different plug in the summer months?

What engine were you running at the time? How long did it last after that race?

The Werks Collari .21 7 port, I never could get it to hold a tune right. I tried it the next race after about a hour....it ran but it would not even move my buggy. I ended taking it apart, it was black in the crankcase. Now i am up in the air about trying to fix it or just get a OS.
