I was wondering what yall thought between the two. I am seriously thinking about getting the xl chassis. if yall could post what you like and dont like between the two.

besides for the obvious handling benefits of the xl tvps, the tcs version also lets you drop the esc down in between the tvps where it's better protected.

Other than adding about a pound to the truck, and the machining being a little rough(at least on my first-production-batch set), the XL-length TVPs are all upside. They make the truck far more stable, both on the ground and in the air, and they're so tough you might as well be driving a solid aluminum billet. The ESC relocation option means I don't have that nagging worry about getting nailed by another truck and smashing the MMM.

I wouldn't recommend them if you're building a shelf queen, but if you intened to beat the snot out of your Savvy like I do, they're the way to go.

Thanks dude. Im making a set now outta 6061 aluminum. I think its going to be sweet. its going to handle totally diffrent

can a newbeee do this conversion, is there any other parts needed to convert to the xl, also where are there pics or site to do more investigation and more info on the xl tvps?

imo there is much better out there than tcs, but to answer your question,

yes, r/c modelers of any experience level can lengthen their savage

caz if you need any help, we'll help ya!

don't think you'll necessarily need more parts but your body will likely be too short.

what is better than the tcs tvp, also is just updating the stock to the 5mm thick tvp good enough?
