hello.
i have my flux for 2 months but since the beginning i didnīt like the esc position on the car mainly because i use a hobbywing one that is bigger then the mambaīs and i also didnīt like the waste of space of stock receiver and steering servo box so i start engineering my project:

i start with this i-rc steering servo/receiver box and mod it to fit flux stock tvpīs.
a litlle mod and 2 screws and fitīs great, also i get a box to put receiver in it.

this is my home made esc support that fix stock box holes with 3 screws also.

that is the final aspect and i can say i get a better distribution of the parts on the car and for bashing the esc is also better located and protected.
also the steering still work flawless and great at same like stock.

in conclusion is a great and cheap mod and with 2 parts from innovative and some home made job you can get a better and more balanced flux.

hope you guyīs like it!!

no. i bought it here on a local rc store.
i put this wire extension because when i need to program the esc is only remove the wire on the extension and connect to the hobbywing program card.

for the people that use mamba esc you can do a esc support a still mount steering servo on original position side by side to the esc.
and for receiver get a traxxas slash/e-revo receiver box and put in there.
is another way of doing that without the rest of the mod i had to do for put this big hobbywing in the front.
i can tell you you will be alot more secure about damage the esc because their location when hard bashing!!
i get info and ideas for that mod on mid tank section here in this forum!!

The motor looks like the 2200 from the revo, looks good man I aswell have done a "mid" mounted esc....

I see your using flux mounts, take it u had to dremel the motor mounts aswell to get the motor to fit? I know I had to what a pita.
