This winter I plan on ordering a savage flux. I have a savage x right now. I also ordered a firestorm flux. Well I have a couple of question for ya flux guys, so here they are.

1). The charger: I'm looking into the Hyperion series both the duo and regular one. Well if I order that charger do I need to order any adapter or anything else with. Also, I'm looking into the triton2 EQ. I guess same question with the Hyperion. (Which one would be more user friendly).

2.) I pretty much set on going with SMC batteries. They seem good and looks to have great customer service. Question is: I want batteries that won't make the savage crazy and out of control. I want reasonable speed and power, but not overkill. Would 2s lipos be the way to go? How many Mah? Something I could also run in my Firestorm Flux? Or a complete different battery?

I think that's it. Besides charging bags. I think. Mention anything else I should look into or advice.
Thanks for reading the thread and Helping me out!

I only have experience with the hyperions and they rock. i have the 606i, but baddasz_savage has the duo and can charge both his 3s 5000mah packs at the same time in under 30 minutes. of course theres a big difference in price.

if you get a hyp & smc packs, your gonna need these balance boards as recommended by Snuffyhttp://www.amainhobbies.com/product_info.php/products_id/31789/n/Hyperion-Multi-Adapter-Balance-Board-2-6S-No-Cable-ProTek-Align-E-Flite-Venom

From the way you describe you want your truck to run, id say you'd be happier on 4s than 6s

SMC has some nice 8000 & 9000 Mah 4s packs.
