Het everyone,
What do you guys think about the Itegy steering knuckles, C Block and rear hub carriers? Are they any good? Will they hold up to some good bashing?
Just wanted your opinion before I spend the cash.

Thanks frddyj,
So the backs are good. Do you know anything about the fronts. IMO if the backs are good I'm sure they can't screw up the front's or can they?????

Very interested in knowing how they will work out. The prices are steep up here in Canada. It will run me over a 100 bucks to do the upgrade.

The only thing with the HPI products is that stupid purple color. I've spent alot of time getting rid of that color on the rest of my truck.

kv i run the integy castor blocks in the front and they have held up very well. if you are running offset wheels and axle extenders this is a much needed upgrade as i was going through the plastic castor blocks faster then i could install them. if you are only at stock width or 1/2" wider they arnt needed. as for the rear cant beat them. i have had mine for about 5 gallons now and they absolutly rock

Good advice pointing out a killer upgrade.

Kvn, dont mean to jack your thread caz i know its about Integy susp products, but, on principle, i have to point out the best bang-for-buck upgrades to you to make the most of your hard-earned dollar.
ive said the same about the purple but had to get past it for 2 reasons:
1. HPI makes some of the best r/c products on the market & THE best basher truck on the market, hands down!
2. Purple is the color-brand of the savage.
Im a RSC believer; Integy rear-carriers rock hard, but for the $$ your gonna spend for the front & rear, you are ROBBING yourself if you choose it over the RSC.
Changing the Roll Center of your savage is worth the price of this mod & looking past the color alone; (it allows you to hammer the throttle through turns) not to mention tunability and awesome quality.

I'm assuming "rsc" is the savage suspension conversion?
If so then here is the link -->>>> HPI Savage Suspension Conversion Set - #87245 (http://storefront.smfstore.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=31_93&products_id=2178)

Hey bad,
Instead of taking it off with easy off cause I read it dereases the strength of the metal can't you just repaint it with aluminum paint or will the anodized metal not accept it?

Removing the anodizing will only decrease the surface hardness of the parts. It won't effect the strength. It will also change the dimensions of the parts by a few micrometers, but that shouldn't be a problem.
As for the original question, I have used the Integy parts you mentioned. They are poor quality at best. Look for a manufacturer that uses better quality aluminum. Golden Horizons comes to mind.
i wouldnt paint as it would just come off over time. i have used easy off on all my alum parts on my truck and i have yet to bend or break anything. if you do it right and just let it stay on there for a min or 2 at a time it wont harm much.
