OK, I got 6 nova diff-cups and I`ve ordered 6 sets of gears.
43t/13t gears and the gears inside the diff as well as 6 gaskets.
when viewing the parts list of the SS 4.6 I couldn`t find any shims like the ones in the XSS diffs.
even the replacement parts list of the XSS doesn`t show any shims.
the question is should I use shims in nova diff-cups and if yes where can I find them?
my stock plastic diff was completely destroyed when hitting the ramp high in 3rd gear, one of the gears was broken in 3 pieces and one piece was sticking out of the plastic diff-cup.
I want them to be as durable as possible because my sav has to take a lot of serious abuse.
