The monster truck world has lost a special person.
Jesse "twig" Barden passed away this week and the monster truck world is mouring the loss of a friend, team mate and professional.
Twig was the crew chief on Air Force Afterburner and will be truly missed.

not sure what to say but its hard loseing a family member and just as hard loseing a friend . im sure he will be rememberd by thousands.

This is a bad thing, I feel and pray for the family. I have seen him as well he was a good kid and worked hard.

Can I ask, was this a accident at a show or was it some other cause at such a young age (23)?

He was a real great guy I helped him on air force at the Hampton show when they replaced the transmission and he was a real great guy, and real easy to get along with.

Sad to see him gone, my prayers go out to him and his family.

John told me what happened. Sounds like he lived life and was happy. Wish his family all the best.
