Well guys after months of saving funds my savy is getting ready to be reborn.

Have you noticed a better turning radius with the RSC? Was thinking of getting the RSC kit but don't have the cash to buy one yet.

I am using a hpi sf-5 for my steering servo with a racers edge servo horn.

It took you what 10mins start to finish? I remember the same phone call with Visionary 45 mins later... and I still have to tune it! Your not a noob.

:lmao: Yeah some where around that,is the counting me hanging up on you too?Sorry about the carb dude, just took it out of the box and started putting the flywheel,shoes,and bell on it.. Next pic of the mill it will be the right direction..rockout

No worries, il have a look around and see if i can find one, i didnt know ya could get vented flywheels, seems like a good idea, looks as tho it scoops air as it spins and throws it into the shoe/bell area, quality!

Here is a couple pics of my mill,with nova mount and with the mesh set..Really like this mount,was a little P.I.T.A to set the mesh. After about 10mins I got it..:lmao:

Yes it bolted right up with no major problems..( other than me being a noob,since this was my frist build..:lmao:) Very impressed with the plate, I would recomend it to anyone that was going to do the 250cc mod..

Well after doing some :thinking: I came up with away to mount the MPI switch..Took some scrap sheet metal and made me a mounting box.

did you use a few extensions? just keep an eye to see that you dont lose voltage to your servos (feel weak). sometimes a extension will do that.

Almost there need to do the T/B linkage,put the wheels and tires on,and few more things..Also need to take a little more of the A- arms for the rsc to clear when truning..

Nice build! Having the receiver outside the chassis scares me though. I don't think I would risk my $90 FASST receiver out there. I went with the IRC mid tank kit that includes a receiver box that fits under the tank.

Thanks Frddy!! No plans on Robin to mod the motor... As for the shock caps I got them off of ebay for about 7.50 a pair..Also got the HF mount at the same store..:peace:

Well I finally got my T/B linkage done here is a couple pics:

I also moved the MPI switch to the outside of the TVP's..I had it mounted to the rear shock tower.This elimanated the servo extension that I had to use.
Here is where i have it mounted now.

Thanks Max...Took me a minute to figure out why the throtle lingkage was way off...Then I noticed that the servo needed to be moved forward...Man what a newb I am..:lmao:

Scott, for your linkages was the spring too long for the carb? OFNA gave me a really long one and when fully compressed, it didn't give enough space to engage brakes. Did you have to cut it or something?

Have the bumpers amd towers comming in the mail..Should be here in the next couple of day..I would like to thank Bank and Frddy for all the there help and support..They pointed things out to me that helpped me out quite a bit.

Thanks Bad... It wasn't that hard to install, just some minor mods to the bulk case and a arms..Other than that it was simple..haven't mess with the toe at all, just threw the wheels on and took some pics...That is my next project before I get her out and do the breakin...

Looks like you put quite a bit of thinking and money into this. Like bank says unload the hubs. Just trying to help you have the best setup. We've been there did it and regreted it. How much more time you think you think it will be before it's up and runnin?

Thanks Op, I already unloaded the hubs.. Everything that I didn't use i sold to try abd get some funds back for other parts and pieces that i wanted..Will start breaking in the milll this weekend..(probllay Sunday..)

Front upper arm: Outer hole position .4835-in
Front tie rod: GH Bell crank mind you 1.4555
Rear upper arm: Inner position .6605

Yeah I have been waiting on this too Justin...Had A few issues come up with the build.But now with the help of fellow HPISF members I have gotten them straighend out..Hopefully if the weather is nice this weekend i can finish breaking it in..I am sure the I will do some damage to it sooner or later..:lmao: I have a buddy that just got done building a motocross track..Thats where i plan on going to bash at..I will make sure that I get some vids when I go there..:peace:

It gave me a much better angle from the bell crank to the servo..

Not real sure about that dude...Frddy advised to me to mount it to the tvps...Its just a straighter line to the servo there than it was when i had it monted to the cf plate..

i got a set of these cheap. the shafts, plungers, & shock eyes all work on the big bores.

It's at a stand still right now. Selling a couple of things so that I can raise some money to finish. As soon as I start building it again I will be updating my thread.

Hot Stuff! I just purchased the DS 1313 as well. I fried my HF5 Bashing a few days ago. Luckly i had an extra servo.
