Would you want XL Length Chassis CF Plates over X or 1.5" rear extended???

Alright, I am trying to figure out if it would be worth me to make XL length replacement 4mm Carbon Fiber Chassis Plates (TVP's). So please vote if you would purchase them.

These would be lighter than the stock aluminum plates and more than double the thickness and probably 3 or 4 times the strength.

if the ones you have are as long as the FLM extended then i think those are great.

They are very very similar to the same length as the FLM TVP's. Also, are as low CG as them or a tad lower.

i have the FLM and if yours are similar then i think those are long enough for me but the Xl isnt a massive difference from 1.5 is it.

Correct the Flux is about 11/16" longer.

i dont think i would waste time and effort to make a tvp that is only that much longer but that is just my .02

I agree, I cannot see much benefit to the added length over 1.5" especially being LCG lower than the X chassis.

Well, for the Flux, the XL length would be cool. If that extra length is in the rear, it would allow the ESC to sit between the TVPs instead of on top.

Are you putting it on a flux. If so i would go with the xl length. Me and my dad made a set of xl plates for my flux and it handles so goood. better then anything else

Oooh er. I voted for both for 1.5 and XL by accident.

I prefer the 1.5. It makes for a good balance between stability and steering radii.

And you can use stock 123mm dogbones. :)

I have to agree guys the 1.5" is my fav as well. it gives a great balance between even on the FLUX. In my book the XL is a bit long even with the power of the FLUX because you loose some of that steering and some of the ability to abuse the extra power, LOL.
