Hi
i just installed an new spur gear and changed the gear mesh (which was horrible before) and wanted to try whats gonna happen today
i started the engine
but no torque? the engine screams like crazy but the car moves to slow..
the acceleration is horrible
it cant even push itself up a small bump
what might be the reason for anything like this?
maybe some oil in the clutch?
thx

You tightened the slipper down all the way and then backed it off a half turn right? Was Spur/Clutchbell are you running? Have you checked your clutch shoes to see if they were glazed over?

Check if your spurgear is not slipping over the input axle of your gearbox..
haven't you forgot to past the slipper material onto your spurgear ?

check for spur gear first, i usually jam a screwdriver into the metal peice behind it so it does not slide then tighten the 7mm nut, if you do not hold the metal peice in back then you will not be able ot fully tighten it. also if the truck is new then oil might have come out of the bearings on the clutchbell and got onto the shoes. so clean them up with some DA or break cleaner and scuff up the bell and shoes while its apart
