Howdy all, stumbled upon this site and figured on joining
Now I have had my savage 21 for a while now (since it was released) never really had any issues with it until recently. For some reason, mid way through the tank it will randomly die, I was running it earlier today and it was relatively hot out (27 degrees). Just clean cut dies no sputtering nothing. I have adjusted the needles back to factory settings but the low end speed needle is a bit of a pain to find fully closed, as when you screw it down the slide carb expands. There is smoke but its not super heavy and the truck pulls hard with no hesitation.
Also if I leave it idling for a few minutes it dies. Seeing as I have tinkered with all the rest of the settings, is this a idle screw adjustment I should be hunting?
I would have played around a bit more but my glow ignitor died. I am not a tuning god but I am not a idiot either, just need some reassurance that what I am doing or gonna do is right. Cause its a long way to a LHS up here lol
cheers
