savage x 2-speed factory setting

Hello,

I was running my 4.1 savvy x and noticed that it was no longer shifting. I pulled the top have of the case off and noticed the allen screw had fallen out. Does anyone know where to set the allen screw from fully closed? I plan on using some loc-tite this time.

Hiya i found this on the HPI site for the 2 speed hope it helps :)


The standard setting for the Savage two speed shift screw is around four turn out from maximum although these are set via RPM at the factory. In order to set this screw the adjustment screw in as far as it will go, then back it out by four turns

Yep, four turns from fully closed worked for me. My X shifts like a champ now.
