integy spur gears

i just bought the integy steel spur gear and adaptor and i cannot figure out how this goes on, theres no contact pach and because it doesnt have a solid back to it. does anyone know how this is supposed to work? thanks

well i got it on, but it still seemed wrong, anyway when it was on the screws that held the ring gear onto the the sproket stuck out to far and would hit the clutch bell. i moved the engine but it cant go far enought so that they clear. so i got out the dremel to try to file down the heads on the screws. But all that did was make the screws loose and they backed out. I got so frusterated i put it in a corner till tomorow. maybe ill just get another nylon one
