View Full Version : SH nitro .28 piston orientation in sleeve??

Wondering if anyone knows which way the piston is located in sleeve? I just sent them out for resizing, and never noticed the large cutaway on only one side of the piston. Need to know if this cutaway faces the exhaust side, or intake side? Thanks in advance if ya can help. Dave

on my ntc3 it fits in only one day so it may be like that on every engine...Im not sure though

Sure does fit only one way, the cutout goes towards the crankshaft for rotating clearance. Guess I should have just tried assembly first, before yelling for help. Thanks again. Sorry this is in the forum. It was suppose to go under engines.
