I am looking at doing some upgrades on my Wheely King. I am looking to get a little more speed out of it and a bit more handling as well. I have already put a xl-5 esc and 12t Titan motor in it as well as the steel center drive shafts. The plastic ones could not handle the abuse I put the truck through. Any other suggestions?

What would be a good pinion/spur ratio to get some speed out of the truck?

Titan 550 motor isnt all that great but you can get more speed by altering the gear ratio. If you want more wheel speed then simply buy a bigger pinion.
For better handling, and for the fact you own a Wheelie King, youll need to drop the COG as this truck sits too high. Softer springs will bring the truck down to level as well as stop the excessive bouncing around with to strong a spring. Just keep in mind that using preload spacers are also for ride height and not for changing the spring-rate itself.
